USA Hockey today announced that it has signed retail licensing agreements with four leading sports merchandise, apparel and novelty manufacturers: McArthur Towel and Sports; Maramor Brands, LLC; Klaus-Kobec Ltd.; and J.F. Sports Company.
The announcement was made by USA Hockey Executive Director Doug Palazzari (Colorado Springs, Colo.); Vice President and Marketing Council Chairperson Larry Reid (Rumford, R.I.); Director, Corporate Marketing and Consumer Products Chris Trinceri (Colorado Springs, Colo.); and Coordinator, Corporate Marketing and Consumer Products Harry Leckemby, Jr. (Colorado Springs, Colo.).
‘We are proud to welcome four leading manufacturers to the USA Hockey family of officially licensed products,’ said Trinceri. ‘With agreements in place and a continual expansion of USA Hockey’s product diversity, we are able to offer more appealing products to our ever-expanding population of U.S. hockey fans.’
·McArthur Towel and Sports, based in Baraboo, Wis., has been marketing licensed sports towels and golf products for 117 years. Under its agreement with USA Hockey, McArthur Towel and Sports will produce a wide range of golf items with the USA Hockey logos, as well as bath robes, aprons, beach towels, mini-fan towels, sports towels, hooded towels, infant bibs, game towels, skate towels, shatterpucks and hockey equipment bags.
·Maramor Brands, a Columbus, Ohio-based company, has been producing distinctive candies for 83 years. As part of its agreement with USA Hockey, Maramor Brands will produce milk chocolate hockey pucks, milk chocolate hockey sticks, and single-use disposable cameras, all with the USA Hockey marks.
·Manchester, England-based Klaus-Kobec produces some of the finest watches in the world at reasonable prices. As the first USA Hockey licensee to be based outside of North America, Klaus-Kobec will produce limited-edition adult wrist watches and sport wrist watches.
·Parma, Ohio-based J.F. Sports Company is a leading producer of licensed sports novelties. By signing with USA Hockey as a licensee, J.F. Sports Company will produce novelty key chains, ‘ice resurfacer’ windshield scrapers and remote control hockey players.
All agreements extend through the territory of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, Canada, and those territories and possessions of the United States, excluding American Samoa, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
