Leicester Tigers has already received more than one million pounds in season ticket sales for next season and is on target to increase the current membership of 11,500.
The club has been inundated with requests, many from new members, after winning the Premiership for the fourth year in a row and becoming the first club to retain the Heineken Cup.
Managing Director David Clayton was understandably delighted. He said: ‘This is great news. The current season is not even finished and already we’ve sold over 7,000 season tickets and smashed through the million pound barrier.
We are eight percent up on last year and the number of new applications received is particularly encouraging. Existing season ticket holders have until June 1 to renew their membership at discounted prices before all seats go on general sale.’
Season ticket prices range from £59 to £299 are available from the Welford Road ticket office on 08701 283430.
