EquiVouchers, the revolutionary new voucher scheme for the equestrian market, has entered into a three year sponsorship deal with Horse of the Year Show (HOYS). It’s an affiliation which will link one of the largest events on the equestrian calendar with an exciting new commercial initiative. EquiVouchers will, for the first time, give the UK equestrian retail trade a formalised national gift voucher scheme.
The scheme was introduced at the BETA International trade fair but it’s the Horse of the Year Show, held at the NEC Arena, Birmingham from 6th -10th October that will see the much anticipated consumer launch.
Mike Gill, a director of HOYS organisers Grandstand Media, is delighted with the association with EquiVouchers. ‘We’re delighted to welcome EquiVouchers to Horse of the Year Show and to be able to introduce such an innovative concept to consumers within the equestrian community.
Horse of the Year Show is a multi-faceted event, and there is much more going on than purely the action that is seen in the arenas themselves. Last year over 50,000 visitors enjoyed ‘retail therapy’ in the tradestand pavilion demonstrating that it’ll be the ideal platform for EquiVoucher to launch and establish the scheme within their target market.’
An integral part of the sponsorship will include naming Horse of the Year Show’s vast tradestand area ‘The EquiVoucher Shopping Pavilion’. The sponsorship package will provide EquiVouchers with a substantial level of direct exposure to both equestrian retailers and consumers through extensive branding and marketing opportunities.
Charles Lousada, Managing Director of EquiVouchers says, ‘Since the trade launch at BETA we have had overwhelming interest from retailers wanting to join the scheme. Our high profile presence at HOYS in October, in particular the sponsorship of the shopping pavilion, is the perfect way for us to firmly establish EquiVouchers as a brand that both consumers and trade will recognise and trust.’
Charles also adds that he has enough confidence to have agreed a three year sponsorship deal with this prestigious event, demonstrating that ‘EquiVouchers are here to stay.’
This year at HOYS there will be a record number of stands with over 160 in total selling a range of products, from jodhpurs to jewellery.
