Leading pan-European sports channel Eurosport has announced key appointments in its London office. David Orman becomes UK Sales Director with special responsibility for Scandinavia and the USA, while Business Development Director, Michael Lams, will head up an expanded business unit looking to develop more strategic partnerships with a wide range of international clients.

David Orman said, ‘Myself and the whole of the UK sales team are eagerly awaiting the year ahead as we believe 2004 will be a great year for Eurosport. Not only do we have the Olympics and Euro 2004, but also a huge range of annual events such as the Australian Open, the Tour de France, LG Super Racing Weekends and the Champions League. We will also be reinforcing the sales team through further recruitment.’

In addition, Eurosport in London has strengthened its distribution arm. Ben Phillis has joined from Sky to manage distribution in the UK and Ireland, he will report directly to Jean-Thierry Augustine.
