NEC Harlequins are delighted to announce the appointment of Mark Evans as Chief Executive. Previously with Saracens, Mark will take up his new post on Monday 8th May. “Harlequins are the best known name in British rugby and I consider it a great priviledge to have been given the opportunity to lead the club,” said Mark. My aim is very simple – to re-establish the Harlequins amongst the very best clubs in Europe both on and off the field. To achieve this I will seek to combine the traditions of the club with the best practices that exist in rugby union and other professional sports.” Christopher Haines, Chairman of NEC Harlequins, remarked that, “It is excellent news that Mark Evans will be joining us as Chief Executive.
