Former World Champion Jackie Stewart has announced that he is retiring as chairman and chief executive officer of Jaguar Racing. The Scotsman announced his decision when the first Jaguar Formula One Car was unveiled at Lord’s Cricket Ground this morning. Stewart said he made the decision to spend more time with his family. Neil Ressler, currently vice-president of The Ford Motor Company, will take over as chairman. Paul Stewart, son of Jackie, will continue as chief operating officer.
