While the deadline for entries into the 2013 ESA Excellence Awards is fast approaching (4th November), there is still time to enter. Organised by the European Sponsorship Association (ESA) and now in its seventh year, they are the only Awards that recognise excellence within the sponsorship industry across Europe.

An independent panel of expert judges is drawn from across the Continent including Sweden, Germany, The Netherlands, Italy, Hungary, Ireland and the UK. The Awards also enjoy the patronage of Mrs Androulla Vassiliou, Member of the European Commission.

The ESA Awards provide an opportunity for all businesses to be involved, no matter what the size of sponsorship budget. They cover sport, culture, entertainment, media, community and corporate responsibility and there is a dedicated Rights Holder Award and a Multi-National Sponsorship Award.

The ESA Best of Europe Award sees the 2013 national award winners compete against each other to see who will be crowned the most successful in Europe.

The award winners will be announced at the ESA Excellence Awards Ceremony in London on the 29th January 2014.

Full entry details are available online as well as helpful case studies of past winners and sample entry guides – see http://www.sponsorship.org/ESA-Excellence-Awards/index.asp

Sportcal is supporting the Awards as a media partner and Action Images is providing photographic support.
