LONDON AND CLEVELAND 15 September 2003. IMG has announced that Eric Drossart, currently President of IMG Europe, Africa, and Middle East is to become Chairman of IMG Europe. Alastair Johnston joint CEO and President of IMG commented ‘Eric will use his considerable experience and reputation in the industry to focus on the development of strategic relationships with business contacts and sport federations as well as IMG’s links with the Olympic family and sponsors’.

Andrew Hampel, formerly Senior International Group Vice President, is appointed Managing Director of IMG Europe, Africa, and Middle East. Mr. Hampel will report directly to Alastair Johnston and Bob Kain and be responsible for all IMG’s business operations in the region.

Both appointments take immediate effect.
