The BBC has announced its schedule for the 129th Open Championship, which is being held at St. Andrews between July 20-23 this year.

Digital terrestrial viewers will be able to use the BBC’s Open interactive service to watch enchanced coverage including an updated Leaderboard, headline news, reports, statistics and the history of the original golf championship, at the same time as viewing the Open.

Television coverage will be fronted by Steve Rider, who will introduce each Open Championship programme, including Grandstand.

Television commentaries will be provided by Peter Alliss, Alex Hay, Ken Brown, Jerry Pate, Mike Hughesdon, Beverley Lewis, Mark Roe, Julian Tutt, Dennis Hutchinson, Gary Wolstenholme, Hazel Irvine and Dougie Donnelly.
