Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Motorsport GmbH have announced today that DENSO Corporation becomes a corporate sponsor for the Panasonic Toyota Racing F1 team from the 2004 season.
DENSO Corporation is a leading global supplier of advanced automotive technologies, systems and components and has supported the Toyota F1 team as a technical partner since 2002, by providing products such as tailor-made spark plugs for the team’s V10 engine.
Under the new sponsorship deal, DENSO expands its relationship to become a corporate sponsor for Panasonic Toyota Racing, in addition to the existing technical support.
DENSO’s logo will appear on the engine cover of the team’s 2004 race car, the TF104, which will make its debut tomorrow, Saturday 17 January. Furthermore, Denso’s logo will be branded on team clothing, driver overalls, helmets, and pit walls, in addition to the logo already allocated on
motorhomes and technical trucks.
