Toronto, ON – August 3, 2000 – Bell ExpressVu, Canada’s leading satellite TV provider announced today that it will offer Sunday soccer matches from the English Premier League on Vu!, the company’s own Pay-per-View service, making it the only broadcast distributor in Canada to provide Saturday, Sunday and Monday matches from the League.

Bell ExpressVu customers can subscribe to the English Premier League Soccer package consisting of up to 32 Sunday games from August 2000 – May 2001 for only $99 (two payments of $49.50). Each game is also available à la carte for $8.95/live match or $5.95/replay.
The English Premier League Soccer package from Bell ExpressVu kicks-off on Sunday, August 20th with Premiership Champions Manchester United meeting Newcastle United. The following Sunday, August 27th, has the rematch of last season’s F.A. Cup as Aston Villa goes up against Chelsea. Saturday and Monday League matches will also be available from Bell ExpressVu on CTV Sportsnet.
