Monte Carlo – The IAAF World Television Seminar, which is planned to take place in the Hotel Athenaem Intercontinental (89-93 Syngrou Avenue, Athens) on 29-30 March, will be a ‘unique’ opportunity for TV opinion makers, to discuss the present and future of broadcasting for the Number 1 Olympic sport, according to IAAF President Lamine Diack.
‘Under the supervision of the IAAF Television Commission, preparations for the World TV Seminar are advancing steadily,’ said Diack. ‘We have finalised the list of topics and key speakers, and I am pleased at the level of interest shown by international TV specialists who have been invited to attend. This will be a significant milestone in the final countdown to the Olympic Games in Athens.’
