Prost Grand Prix announced today that a mutual agreement has been reached with Technical Director, Alan Jenkins, who will no longer work with the team.

Both parties are disappointed to have to make this decision but are determined to not let it affect the long standing personal relationship which started when Alan Jenkins and Alain Prost first worked together at McLaren back in the early 1980’s.

Alan Jenkins joined Prost Grand Prix in June last year as part of a continuing process to advance Prost Grand Prix’s technical capability to develop competitive Formula One cars.

‘ I am confident in our existing technical staff and I look forward to a productive future ‘, said Prost Grand Prix’s President, Alain Prost. ‘ We hope we can get the results our partners and supporters expect from us, in the very near future.’

From now on, Jean-Paul Gousset will coordinate the activities of Prost Grand Prix’s Technical Department. He has been with the team for the past two years as Head of the Design Office.
