Scottish Rugby has secured another significant partnership. Real Radio, Scotland’s No 1 commercial radio station, is today announced as the official radio partner of the Scotland rugby team.

Ali Russell, Scottish Rugby’s Head of Marketing, said: ‘Real Radio is a growing station broadcasting across central Scotland and almost half of its audience is in the key 25-44-year-old category.

‘Our one-year deal, with an option to extend over three years, will ensure comprehensive preview and review material of Scotland’s international matches with all the fun for which Real Radio is renowned.

‘Alongside the excellent match commentaries from our partners in the BBC, our deal with Real Radio will mean more people in Scotland will have the chance to hear the latest news from the Scotland camp. This is another partnership with a blue-chip company which we very much welcome.’

Real Radio managing director Billy Anderson said: ‘We are delighted to be supporting the Scotland rugby team and are sure that there is no-one better placed to bring rugby news to the widest possible audience of sports fans.’
