Williams Racing, the UK-based Formula 1 (F1) motor racing team, have unveiled a new commercial licensing deal with UK eyewear manufacturer SunGod.
Through a deal unveiled yesterday (March 19), SunGod has become the team’s official eyewear licensee for the remainder of the 2024 F1 campaign, which began earlier this month and runs through until early December in Abu Dhabi.
The two organizations are now working together to create a range of eyewear, with limited edition collections to be launched later this year.
SunGod has now been added to a list of Williams’ commercial partners, alongside brands such as Duracell, Michelob Ultra, Dorilton, Puma, Pirelli, and Crew Clothing.
Last month, meanwhile, the team signed a multi-year partnership with Japanese construction company Komatsu.
So far, across the first two rounds of the 2024 F1 World Championship, Williams have not managed to secure a single point.
