Top-tier English soccer team Tottenham Hotspur have announced a partnership with Chinese artificial turf firm Citygreen Sports Group, making them the official synthetic turf supplier to the club for the 2024-25 season.
As part of the deal, Citygreen will work with the Premier League club to install a new synthetic pitch at Tottenham Hotspur's training center in Enfield.
The synthetic turf pitch will be used by the men's and women's academy teams, as well as community events year-round.
A Citygreen press release stated that the club had chosen the group “to provide an environmentally friendly surface that improves the quality of training sessions and supports player development.”
Paul May, training center director of operations for Tottenham Hotspur, said: "It is fantastic to be working with Citygreen for the forthcoming season as we look to further enhance the facilities at our world-class training center.
“This partnership will help the development of players that visit the campus throughout the year, as well as aligning with our mission to reduce our environmental impact across club activities."
