Prometeon, a global tire brand, has signed up as a sponsor of the FIM World Superbike Championship motorcycling competition for the next four seasons, through 2025.

The partnership, announced earlier today (April 5) will entail Prometeon Tire Group’s logo featuring on the WorldSBK’s trackside banners at races during the season.

The agreement also involves Prometeon putting on various activations for WorldSBK fans inside the paddock at races, while guests of the sponsor will be invited to show gala dinners.

The 2022 WorldSBK Championship starts on April 8 in Spain and come to a close 12 rounds later on November 20 in Australia.

The series’ title sponsor, which has been in place since 2016, is French oil company Motul – which also regularly sponsors individual races each season.

Francesco Valentino, head of the commercial and marketing department at WorldSBK’s organizers Dorna Sports, has said: “We are thrilled to launch this new partnership with Prometeon. This project represents a business-to-business opportunity to be exploited and maximized at its best.
