US stock car racing’s Nascar has announced a new partnership with ticketing giant Ticketmaster, which becomes the competition’s official ticketing partner.
Signed in conjunction with racing circuit operator Speedway Motorsports’ existing Ticketmaster deal, the new partnership means that from the 2025 Nascar season onwards fans will be able to purchase race tickets to events at Nascar and speedway Motorsports owned circuits through Ticketmaster.
Ticketmaster will craft new solutions tailored for Nascar and Speedway Motorsports to enhance the ticket-buying and event access experience, utilizing enhanced data collection, marketing, and distribution methods.
Furthermore, Ticketmaster’s distribution network will allow Nascar and Speedway Motorsports raceway tickets to be sold across avenues such as TikTok and Snapchat, as well as through Ticketmaster integration into the Nascar Tracks app, which will become the main source of ticket and event information for Nascar fans.
Speaking on the deal, Nascar senior vice president of consumer strategy Kari Gritton has stated: “We partnered with Ticketmaster as our new ticketing solution based on their advanced capabilities, deep industry insights, and proven best ticketing practices in sports.
“Their expertise will be key in consolidating all Nascar-owned race events onto one efficient and accessible platform, improving our overall operations.”
