Global hospitality and entertainment company MGM Resorts International has announced a new partnership with the New York Yankees, of North American baseball’s top-tier MLB.
The two organizations will collaborate on delivering VIP experiences to MGM Rewards members and Yankees fans, which includes the opportunity to watch batting practice from the warning track, as well as throwing a ceremonial first pitch at the Yankee Stadium.
MGM Resorts will also have brand placement at the Yankee Stadium via LED signage, first and third base rotational signage, and its logo appearing on the back of the pitcher's mound during live local television broadcasts of select games.
As part of the deal, MGM Resorts' Empire City Casino plans to host New York Yankees-themed fan activities and experiences involving active MLB players and alumni.
MGM Resorts, and its BetMGM online sports betting subsidiary, also has a partnership with MLB, as well as several other franchises, including the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Houston Astros, and Washington Nationals.
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Dodgers has renewed its multi-year partnership with US law firm Jacoby & Meyers, designating it as the official law firm of the team.
