Mapfre, the Spanish insurance firm, has been unveiled as a new sponsor of the Copa Libertadores, South America’s top-tier pan-continental men’s soccer competition.

The partnership, which runs until December 2026, consists of brand activations and promotions in all matches of the competition.

The deal gives Mapfre visibility in stadiums via the playing field, press conferences, mixed zones, fan zones, and hospitality spaces.

As part of the agreement, Mapfre will also organize activities with Conmebol legends.

Mapfre becomes the 10th top-tier official sponsor of the Libertadores, joining Amstel, Bwin, Coca-Cola, EA Sports FC, Crypto.com, Mastercard, TCL, Mercado Libre, and Hyundai which was signed up last month in a deal also running until 2026.

The 47-team 2024 Copa Libertadores began on February 6 and culminates in the final in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on November 30.
