Spanish men's soccer’s LaLiga has announced a new partnership with Uber Eats, the food ordering and delivery mobile app, through the 2026-27 season.

Over the next three years, Uber Eats will be fully integrated with the 20-team LaLiga and have a presence on its platforms, from digital channels to signage in stadiums.

Through the tie-up, the two parties will also offer fans access to home deliveries from restaurants and supermarkets available on the Uber Eats app, and will be able to earn exclusive experiences, benefits, and official LaLiga merchandising.

In addition, Uber Eats becomes the sponsor of the “Giveaway of the Matchday”, which awards the best goal assist in matches.

Every week, through the platform's social media, Uber Eats users will be able to vote to choose the best attendance of the day and enter a draw for exclusive experiences from LaLiga and Uber Eats.

Andrés Iniesta, the Barcelona legend, will feature in some activations as an Uber Eats ambassador.

Jorge de la Vega, chief executive of LaLiga, said: “The alliance with Uber Eats is a natural partnership for us, the gastronomy-football combination is and will be one of the keys to this sport in Spain.”

Uber Eats’ sports sponsorship portfolio also includes a deal with the French national soccer federation until 2025.

The platform, however, was recently replaced by global fast-food giant McDonald’s as the title sponsor of France’s top-tier Ligue 1 for the next three seasons.

The 2024-25 LaLiga season will begin on August 15.
