Road cycling’s Tour de France has extended its partnership with Krys, the France-based optical giant, for a further three years.
Krys will continue as the optical partner of the race, organised by ASO, and the sponsor of the white jersey for the leading rider aged 25 or under, until 2023.
As part of the tie-up Krys, through Krys Audition, becomes the hearing partner of the Tour for the first time.
The relationship between Krys and the event dates back to 2014, and the company is to launch ‘L’etape en blanc’ on 6 July, during this year’s race.
Jean-Pierre Champion, chief executive of Krys Group, said: “For Krys, being a partner of the immense collective and public celebration of the Tour de France symbolises our shared values. Close ties between Krys and the Tour have been forged since 2014. And they are being strengthened this year with the arrival of Krys Audition.
“This commitment is genuine and meaningful for our brand, which is very attached to French savoir-faire and the development of its territories. It is a long-term partnership and symbolises the proximity of our opticians and hearing aid practitioners to their customers, throughout the country.”
