UK property website Zoopla has been unveiled as a commercial sponsor of the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).
Through a deal announced today, Zoopla becomes the ECB’s property partner, with the partnership having launched during England men’s recent test match against Sri Lanka at The Oval in London.
The agreement will run through the upcoming men’s series against Australia (three Twenty20 games and four one-day internationals).
In terms of partnership activations, these will come through in-ground media assets such as pitch-side perimeter boards and big-screen advertising, as well as player imagery rights.
There will also be a grassroots sponsorship element incorporated into the partnership.
This is not the first time that Zoopla and the ECB have struck a deal – the site’s PrimeLocation.com brand signed on as a partner of home England men’s test matches in 2013.
In terms of the ECB’s commercial partner portfolio, other significant sponsors include Cinch, Rothesay (unveiled in early July), MetroBank, Vitality, Castore, and Laithwaites.
