Caisse des Dépôts, the French public sector financial institution, has been named as an official partner of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
The deal strengthens the company’s relationship with the local organizing committee as it is already involved in the construction of the Athletes’ Village.
Caisse des Dépôts is building part of the Athletes’ Village with its subsidiaries, Icade and CDC Habitat.
In 2017, it also supported the winning bid for Paris 2024.
Caisse des Dépôts becomes the 12th official partner in the third tier of the games’ sponsorship pyramid alongside Accor Live Limitless, Groupe ADP, ArcelorMittal, Cisco, Danone, CMA CGM, Decathlon, FDJ, GL Events, Le Coq Sportif, and PwC.
The deal was announced yesterday (July 18) when Paris 2024 also unveiled Arena Group, the UK-based events company that provides temporary structures and seating at major sporting events, as an official supporter.

The Paris 2024 Olympics are scheduled to start on July 26 next year, and will run until August 11.
Late last month, French gas company Air Liquide came on board as an official Paris 2024 supporter.
