The ATP, the organizers of the top men’s tennis tour, has announced Austrian brand Waterdrop as its official hydration partner under a multi-year sponsorship deal.
As a gold partner, Waterdrop joins global technology services partner Infosys and official athletic tape Nitto in the ATP Tour’s third-tier sponsorship category.
Waterdrop’s products, including its ‘Microdrinks’ made from dissolvable cubes, feature reusable water bottles designed to reduce plastic waste and will be distributed to players, staff, and volunteers on the men’s tour.
As part of the agreement, Waterdrop will also introduce branded hydration benches for players and fans at ATP Tour events, while live activations at tournaments will give fans the opportunity to try the brand’s products and pick up the company’s reusable bottles.
The ATP said the new deal supports the tennis tour’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint through its ATP Serves program.
Daniele Sanó, ATP chief business officer, said: “Sustainability is something our players, tournaments, and fans care deeply about.
