Anna Guarnerio will leave her position as senior director of media at Infront Italy after 25 years at the agency.
She has spent almost her entire professional career with the international sports marketing agency’s Italian arm, based in Milan, and its predecessor Media Partners.
During her tenure, she has managed various key media rights acquisition and distribution projects, including the negotiation of Infront's latest rights contract with Italian soccer’s top-flight Serie A.
The agency is the exclusive media rights agent and distribution partner for Serie A in all markets outside Italy except the Middle East and North Africa and the US.
It struck a three-year deal with the league in April 2021 worth €139 million (then $164.4 million) per year.
Guarnerio's duties will be taken over by two senior team members – Jens Mennigmann and Peter Moxon – who will co-manage Infront's media department.
