The World Snooker Tour (WST), the organizer of the sport’s global circuit, has today announced the launch of a new global streaming service.
WST Play will allow users to watch the entire season either live or on-demand, as well as a host of additional content.
The platform is available in most global territories and replaces the service previously available on Matchroom Live.
Fans in territories where snooker is not otherwise broadcast will be able to watch the action live from every event on the WST calendar.
Those in countries covered by existing broadcast agreements will be able to watch matches back 30 days after broadcast, including the UK, Republic of Ireland, and the rest of Europe.
WST Play will not be available in China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, Philippines, and Brunei.
The Champion of Champions and Championship League Snooker will be excluded from the streaming service as they will be available free on YouTube.
WST Play features a range of new and exclusive content such as archive footage.
There are additional benefits for members, including exclusive ticket priority for selected UK events, hospitality discounts and free tickets to qualifiers.
