English Premier League (EPL) soccer club Wolverhampton Wanderers (Wolves) have announced a new multi-year deal with sports retailer JD, which becomes the club’s new official sleeve partner.

The partnership will see the JD logo feature on the playing kits of all Wolves teams for the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons, including the men’s and women’s first teams, through to the under-21 side and the club’s entire academy set-up.

Asian sports entertainment brand 6686 Sport served as Wolves' sleeve sponsor for the 2023-24 season through a one-year deal.

In terms of the club's front-of-shirt sponsor, meanwhile, last campaign that slot was filled by AstroPay in a one-year deal. Late last month, media reports suggested a new contract was close to being struck with online betting firm DePay - even through front-of-shirt sponsorship deals in the EPL will be banned from the start of 2026-27.

Russell Jones, Wolves’ general manager for marketing and commercial growth, has now said: “We are thrilled to welcome JD to our growing family of partners, and we look forward to bringing this partnership to life over the next two seasons.

“It’s clear that JD and Wolves share many values, and their interest in music and entertainment as well as football, meant that this partnership was a perfect fit."

Wolves finished 2023-24 in 14th place in the 20-team EPL.

Michael Armstrong, global managing director at JD, added: “JD are delighted to welcome Wolves to our growing roster of top tier football sponsorships. This collaboration with Wolves marks a new chapter in our commitment to celebrating sports culture and amplifying the spirit of teamwork."

The deal marks the second announced by JD with a Premier League club this week, with the sports retailer also signing with Newcastle United.

JD will stock official adidas Newcastle United kits, training wear, and other ranges from the upcoming 2024-25 season onwards in UK and European stores, and online at jdsports.com.

JD will also have a digital presence at Newcastle’s St. James' Park stadium, and the retailer will work with the club to provide exclusive offers and opportunities for fans.
