Aston Villa, the English Premier League soccer club, has announced its third major commercial deal for the 2024-25 season after extending its partnership with Trade Nation.

The online trading platform will remain the Midlands side’s sleeve sponsor until the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Trade Nation will continue to sponsor both the men’s and women’s senior teams, with the company’s logo displayed on the sleeve of all first-team shirts and adult retail shirts.

Villa initially partnered with Trade Nation in June 2023 in a short-term deal.

The two-year renewal comes after the club recently secured qualification to European club soccer’s elite UEFA Champions League next season.

Chris Heck, president of business operations at Aston Villa, said: “As a club we are undergoing a period of exciting growth on and off the pitch, and with Trade Nation we continue to share a partner who matches our ambition.

“That a business with the global footprint of Trade Nation has extended its partnership with Aston Villa demonstrates the success of the project we are undertaking.”

Villa last week confirmed a new five-year kit supply deal with German sportswear giant Adidas to replace UK brand Castore. This followed a lucrative shirt sponsorship agreement with betting company Betano last month.

The adidas agreement is understood to be worth a base fee of £10 million per year but could rise to £20 million if certain conditions are met. The brand will pay an extra £7 million to £8 million if the club sells 300,000 shirts each season and a £3 million bonus for qualifying for the Champions League.

Betano will replace Asian betting brand BK8 in a two-year deal reportedly worth around £20 million per season.
