Aston Villa, of English men’s soccer’s top-tier Premier League, have brought on board Ukrainian vodka brand Nemiroff as a new commercial partner.
Nemiroff, which sells its products in around 80 countries and is based in the city of Nemyriv, becomes the Birmingham club’s official vodka partner, through a multi-year deal unveiled today.
The brand’s marketing assets, Villa have said, will be displayed across the club’s iconic Villa Park home stadium on match days.
Chris Heck, Aston Villa’s president of business operations, has said: “This partnership with Nemiroff Vodka comes at an exciting time for both organizations as we look to grow our international presence.
“Their drive for continuous innovation and authentic collaboration with best-in-class partners chimes perfectly with our core ethos and we very much look forward to working together.”
In late September, Villa announced the appointment of Adrian Filby as the club’s new chief commercial officer.
Filby now oversees commercial operations at the Premier League club, with Villa having made a strong commercial push in the last two seasons in tandem with their rise up the English top-flight table and subsequent qualification for the 2024-25 UEFA Champions League.
The Villa men’s team’s front-of-shirt sponsor is betting brand Betano, while Adidas is the kit supplier.
The club currently ranks ninth in the Premier League for annual sponsorship values in GlobalData Sport’s annual The Business of the English Premier League 2024-25 report.
Yuriy Sorochynskiy, chief executive at Nemiroff, added: “Nemiroff has a long-standing history of global sports partnerships, and our expansion into football is an exciting next step … With our eyes set on global expansion, we’re eager to engage with football fans around the world.”
Nemiroff was previously a sponsor of mixed martial arts' Ultimate Fighting Championship.
