Pepperstone, the Australian online trading platform, has become a partner of mixed martial arts’ (MMA) Ultimate Fighting Championship in Asia.
A strategic collaboration between the two parties has been unveiled today.
Over the weekend, UFC will host an event in Macau, China, while in February the promotion will head to both Riyadh (Saudi Arabia), and Sydney, Australia.
UFC, part of the overall TKO Group owned by Endeavor, announced a major deal with global technology giant IBM late last week. IBM becomes UFC's global AI partner - the first time the MMA promotion has put a brand into this particular designation.
Late last month, meanwhile, UFC disclosed a global marketing deal with streaming platform Kick. Through this agreement, a dedicated UFC channel is being created on Kick (which was launched in 2022), featuring original content such as fight watchalongs, press conferences, athlete interviews, and behind-the-scenes access.
Earlier this year, Pepperstone acted as a regional partner for the AFC Asian Cup national teams soccer tournament in Qatar. That regional deal covered China, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam.
