The soccer body is attempting to find a partner in that category for the 2024-27 club competition cycle.

UEFA, European soccer’s governing body, has begun the process of selecting a partner for the creation of UEFA club competition shirt patches.

The body is now inviting proposals for its 2024-27 cycle from “suitably qualified companies,” relating to the creation of shirt patches for use during UEFA club competitions across three campaigns.

These include the top-tier men’s UEFA Champions League and Women’s Champions League, as well as the second-tier Europa League and third-tier Europa Conference League.

The annual UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League Finals, and Futsal Champions League Finals, are also set to be included.

UEFA’s club competition agency partner, Team Marketing, will act as the exclusive agency during this process and will be the point of contact for all bidders.

The sales process will open at the end of October, and more information can be found by contacting uccpartners@team.ch.

Prospective bidders should include their company profile, details of any similar licenses held, and “examples of other licensed products currently developed" in their submissions.

The cycle will cover the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons.

UEFA is currently carrying out a media rights tender process for club competitions across that same cycle in multiple markets.

It is also bringing commercial partners on board for that period, and late last month extended its tie-up with Engelbert Strauss, the German workwear and safety equipment firm, for the 2024-27 seasons of the Europa League and Europa Conference League.
