European soccer’s governing body UEFA has launched its last tender process for sponsorship rights across its lower-tier men’s club competitions, for the 2024-27 cycle.

Swiss-based UEFA has formally invited entities from all product categories to express interest in the last available sponsorship package covering the second-tier pan-European Europa League and third-tier Conference League for the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons.

So far, UEFA has brought on board seven brands - Hankook, Strauss, Enterprise Rent-a-car, Swissquote, Just Eat, Lidl, and Betano - as partners for these two competitions, with the 2024-25 Europa League and Conference League having got underway over the last few weeks. The sales process originally kicked off in May 2022.

Of these, Lidl was the most recently unveiled, in early September.

The governing body has revealed it has now received one offer so far for these rights and is therefore inviting additional bidders to express interest. They should do so by contacting uccpartners@team.ch, by noon Central European Time on October 11.

For the top-tier UEFA Champions League, meanwhile, specific partners for the next three seasons include brands such as Heineken, Lay’s, FedEx, Mastercard, Just Eat, PepsiCo, and PlayStation.

The Team Marketing agency handles sales of men’s club competition sponsorship rights for UEFA.

All men’s UEFA club competitions have a new format this season, with all teams now ranked in the same overall group stage, instead of the previous system where they were split into groups of six.

Elsewhere, UEFA will be launching a tender to find a payment services sponsor for its various women’s football competitions, on October 21.

This covers the 2025-30 commercial cycle, encompassing all women’s football competitions in that period.

All formal offers must be submitted by November 22 at noon Central European Time, to kathryn.wilson@twocircles.com.

Two Circles was appointed as UEFA’s exclusive agency of choice regarding commercial rights to its women’s competitions in mid-July.

The group stages of this year’s UEFA Women’s Champions League top-tier clubs competition begin on October 8.
