Swisscom connects with UEFA for 2025 Women’s Euro

The company becomes the official national telecommunications and connectivity partner of next year’s tournament in Switzerland.

Swisscom, the national telecommunications firm, has been unveiled as a sponsor of the UEFA Women’s European Championship national team soccer tournament (in Switzerland) next year.

Through the agreement, the company becomes the official national telecommunications and connectivity partner of next year’s Swiss tournament.

Swisscom will provide telecommunication and connectivity services for supporters in stadiums and fan zones as part of the deal.

The telecoms company is the first national partner for the 16-team Women’s Euro.

Earlier this year, international insurance giant AXA was signed up as a global partner of the event, joining Amazon, Booking.com, EA, Euronics, Grifols, Heineken, Hublot, Just Eat Takeaway.com, Lay's, PlayStation, and Visa (the first partner on board).

In 2017, UEFA separated its women’s sponsorship packages from those for the men’s game for the first time.

This partnership builds on Swisscom’s extensive involvement in Swiss soccer, having become an official partner of the Swiss Football Association earlier this year.

UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 will be held from 2 to 27 July 2025 in eight host cities across Switzerland, including Basel (opening game and final), Bern, Geneva, Zurich, St. Gallen, Lucerne, Thun and Sion.
