Stats Perform, the sports technology giant, has secured international betting video rights to the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) and the country’s women’s top-flight SWPL competition.
The exclusive deal, which encompasses global territories outside the UK, will see Stats Perform distribute live streaming video feeds of SPFL and SWPL fixtures to international betting platforms to enhance their offerings.
Stats Perform will replace IMG Arena in the role.
Sportsbooks that subscribe to Stats Perform’s Bet LiveStreams service will immediately gain access to live game streams of matches from the SWPL, and the men’s top-tier Scottish Premiership, as well as select fixtures from the second and third tiers of the men’s game, alongside the men’s League Cup, lower tier SPFL Trust Trophy, and the women’s SWPL Cup.
The partnership will utilize Stats Perform’s live-streaming technology and Opta data. This includes advanced features, such as the AI-powered Instant Highlights and Opta Smart Stats Overlays.
Speaking on the deal, SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster stated: “Stats Perform’s team and technologies are trusted by top sports federations globally, as well as billions of fans. Their experience as pioneers of live sports streaming for licensed sportsbooks means our fans also tap into a wealth of innovation in that world.”
Andrew Ashden, Stats Perform’s chief betting officer, added: “The SPFL group, with SPFL and SWPL competitions, brings another heavyweight set of well-timed, high-octane football betting rights into our package. Its teams, players and historic rivalries are very popular with global fans.
“The SPFL and SWPL games sit perfectly alongside our top calibre competitions from England, Spain, Italy and many more, making our AI-enriched service critical to any licensed sportsbook globally that has football fans as customers.”
Most recently, Stats Perform added the EFL, the organizer of the second, third, and fourth tiers of England’s soccer league pyramid, to the Bet LiveStreams service.
