Fite+ will become TrillerTV+, Fite 24/7 will be TrillerTV 24/7, while AEW Plus will keep its name.

Fite, the combat sports-focused streaming platform, has rebranded as TrillerTV, due to the addition of non-combat sports to the platform and to further align with parent company Triller.

Fite+ will become TrillerTV+, Fite 24/7 will be TrillerTV 24/7, while AEW Plus will keep its name.

The move follows a spate of non-combat acquisitions, such as exclusive rights to soccer’s top-tier Liga Portugal across several markets through the 2025-26 season, and an exclusive two-year rights deal with the Asian Football Confederation’s top-tier Champions League covering the UK and Ireland, Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.

The streaming platform's first foray outside combat sport came while securing games for last year's Rugby League World Cup across the US and all of North, Central, and South America, as well as Germany, Italy, Spain, most of Europe, and Africa.

Michael Weber, co-founder and chief operating officer of TrillerTV, said: “TrillerTV is everything you know and trust from Fite, but with doors open for even more sports.

“Our original name served us well, as have our loyal customers, promoters, and athletes to whom we are super grateful.”

Kosta Jordanov, co-founder and chief executive of TrillerTV, added: “Now that we’ve proven Fite in tens of thousands of live events from all over the world, it’s time to expand to more content verticals under our new brand TrillerTV.

“We will be adding new sports categories, more premium brand promotions, and continuing to improve our technology to give the best user experience in streaming sports and entertainment.”

Fite was originally founded in 2015, and the platform has since grown to 8 million registered users worldwide.

Could the use of Machine Learning (ML) and Computer Vision (CV) bolster the sports industry growth?

Successful applications of ML have helped the decision-makers at sports companies, broadcasters, and leagues find underlying trends in vast datasets. This analysis informs their strategy, on and off the pitch. CV is mainly used in training, officiating, performance analysis, and injury prevention. Many teams using this technology have reported a decline in lost days due to injury.
