Real Madrid, the Spanish soccer giants, have unveiled a new partnership with technology and financial services company Ouro.
Under the agreement, Ouro becomes the exclusive, official sponsor of the men's and women's football first teams in the prepaid, credit, and debit card sector.
The tie-up will make Ouro the LaLiga club's regional partner in the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Portugal, France, and the United Arab Emirates.
Emilio Butragueño, Real Madrid's director of institutional relations, said: “Ouro is a leading player in the financial sector and will now be our sponsor in several countries, primarily the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
“We're certain that what we are starting out with will become a partnership that will last for a very long time and bring great benefits to both parties.”
Real Madrid recently secured a regional sponsorship agreement with Peruvian beverage company AJE Group and signed up computer hardware firm HP as its first-ever sleeve sponsor.
The club’s main sponsorship deals include a front-of-shirt tie-up with Fly Emirates and a kit supply agreement with adidas.
Other commercial partners include Mahou, BMW, EA Sports, Abbott, Nivea, ADOBE, Cisco, Canon, PlayStaton, Coca-Cola, Sanitas, and Easy Markets.
Real Madrid are currently 11 points clear at the top of LaLiga and on course to win their 36th league title.
