Real Madrid, the Spanish soccer heavyweights, have extended their sponsorship agreement with health services provider Sanitas for another three seasons.
Through the renewal, Sanitas, a subsidiary of international healthcare company Bupa, will continue as the LaLiga club’s official medical provider until at least 2027.
The healthcare company has had a partnership with Real Madrid since 2002, provided services to both their soccer and basketball teams.
The extended deal will take their partnership to 25 years.
Both parties will also continue to collaborate on community and social initiatives.
Sanitas will continue to sit alongside Emirates, adidas, HP, BMW, EA Sports, Nivea Men, ADOBE and Coca-Cola as partners to the reigning LaLiga and Champions League winners.
Meanwhile, Madrid-based outfit Getafe have unveiled Lowi, the Vodafone-owned telecoms company, as their new back-of-shirt sponsor for this season.
The brand, in its first ever sports sponsorship agreement, will feature on the lower back of players' shirts in LaLiga and Copa del Rey matches throughout the year.
Getafe did not have a back-of-shirt sponsor last season.
Lowi will feature on the club’s shirts alongside kit supplier Joma, shirt sponsor Tecnocasa and sleeve sponsor Odty.
