Real Madrid, champions of Spanish soccer’s top-tier LaLiga, have brought on board Spanish sports betting and online casino operator Versusbet as a new club partner.
The brand, part of the Grupo Orenes organization, has become a regional sponsor, across all of Europe with the exception of Spain, in a deal covering the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.
This tie-up follows on from Real announcing an agreement with Chinese brand Linglong Tire, late last month.
Javier Lopez Cerron, Grupo Orenes’ general manager, has said: “For us, this is a very significant milestone. At Versusbet we always want to be close to the best and Real Madrid is one of the most important clubs in the history of international sport, an institution with whom we want to share great successes. This agreement is a cornerstone for our international expansion.”
In terms of Real Madrid’s major club partners, NIKE is the Spanish club’s kit supplier, while the front-of-shirt sponsor is The Emirates airline, in a deal running through 2025-26 which GlobalData has valued as worth $70 million annually.
Real Madrid currently sit second in the 2024-25 LaLiga table, three points behind leaders Barcelona.
Versusbet, meanwhile, makes Real Madrid the second LaLiga club in its sponsorship stable, after signing a deal with Sevilla earlier this year.
The brand also has a deal in place, as of late July, with German heavyweights Bayern Munich.
