The Aston Martin Formula 1 motor racing team has agreed a new long-term partnership German sportswear giant Puma.
The brand will become the team’s official sportswear, athleisure, and technical gear partner from the 2025 season.
Puma car branding will debut on the AMR25 race cars when launched ahead of the 2025 F1 campaign.
The deal sees Aston Martin F1 and Puma forge closer ties as the company’s clothing brand, Stichd, is the team’s official merchandise partner this season.
Luxury clothing brand Hugo Boss is currently the team’s global fashion partner, meanwhile.
The agreement will enhance Puma’s presence in Formula 1 as it already equips the Mercedes, Ferrari, Sauber, and Williams teams.
Puma is also the official trackside vendor and personnel supplier for Formula 1 in 2024.
Earlier this year, the two parties expanded their relationship to cover the F1 Academy all-female development category.
GlobalData Sport estimates the F1-Puma deal as being worth $10 million annually.
The company has developed performance gear in motorsport since the 1980s and counts Ferrari driver Charles LeClerc as a global brand ambassador.
With three races to go this season, Aston Martin are currently fifth in the 2024 Constructor Standings.
