PCB now on hunt for broadcast services partner

The board has now begun a tender process, inviting applications from interested parties.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has today begun the process of appointing a broadcast production services partner for home national team games through 2026.

The board has now begun a tender process, inviting applications from interested parties. These must be submitted by 10:30 am local time on July 25.

Queries relating to the tender should be sent to pcb.bidding@pcb.com.pk.

The period in question encompasses 14 home Pakistan men’s series - spread across test matches, one-day internationals, and T20 internationals - beginning later this year against Bangladesh.

Series will include high-profile clashes against England, South Africa, New Zealand, West Indies, and Sri Lanka.

Earlier this month, the PCB put international media rights (also through 2026) out to tender, with domestic rights to the same clashes having been sold back in April.

In January, the PCB claimed that the sale of domestic live streaming rights for the 2024 and 2025 editions of its domestic top-tier Pakistan Super League competition saw a 113% increase in value compared to the 2022-23 cycle. Marketing platform Walee Technologies secured that package.

Pakistan’s men’s side have recently taken part in the 2024 ICC Twenty20 World Cup in the Caribbean and US, being knocked out at the group stage.
