On Location lands 2026 World Cup hospitality contract, partners with MLS

The company will have exclusive global rights to promote, sell, and operate the tournament's hospitality program.

FIFA, soccer’s global governing body, has today appointed On Location as the official hospitality provider of the men's 2026 World Cup taking place across Canada, Mexico, and the US.

Following a request for proposals, the Endeavor-owned premium hospitality and events business was selected after a “thorough” process.

As the official hospitality provider of the World Cup, On Location will have exclusive global rights to promote, sell, and operate the hospitality program at the 16 stadiums across the tournament’s host cities, offering ticket-inclusive fan experience packages.

Hospitality packages are expected to hit the market later this year directly through FIFA and official sales agents.

On Location has today also announced it will collaborate with Major League Soccer (MLS) to promote and sell hospitality experiences for the World Cup.

MLS was named a hospitality sales agent in Canada and the US following On Location’s appointment by FIFA.

The league has clubs in each of the 13 World Cup host cities in the US and Canada, and On Location has provided hospitality for the NFL’s Super Bowl in five of the tournament’s host stadiums.

Mattias Grafström, FIFA secretary general, has said: “North America has long been renowned as a global leader in delivering the best sports and entertainment experiences for fans, while the FIFA World Cup is known for offering the most unique and thrilling atmosphere one can experience in a stadium.

“With this groundbreaking agreement, we’re sure that we have found the perfect provider to offer premium experience products for the next World Cup that will appeal to domestic audiences across all three host countries, as well as the millions expected to travel from abroad for this historic tournament in 2026.

“Together with On Location, we will be able to curate and deliver game-changing experiences that will bring new fans to the game and offer enhanced experiences to anyone who attends any of the stadiums in the 16 host cities.”

“More people than ever will have the chance to experience an elevated, modern take on hospitality at one of the world’s greatest events.”

On Location is also the official service provider for major events such as the Olympic and Paralympic Games (including the editions coming up in Paris over the next couple of months), American football's Super Bowl, Ultimate Fighting Championship, the NCAA Final Four, and golf's Ryder Cup.

The 2026 World Cup is expected to generate $11 billion during the 2023-2026 financial cycle for FIFA, with the hospitality program set to contribute significantly towards that target.

The flagship soccer tournament will be expanded to 48 teams in 2026 and feature 104 matches, both of those equating to record totals.

The final be held at New Jersey’s 82,000-capacity MetLife Stadium.
