On Location, the premium events experience company owned by Endeavor, has unveiled the appointment of Greg Nortman as executive vice president for ticketing and revenue partnerships.
Nortman most recently served as president of Logitix, and in this new role will “oversee ticketing inventory, pricing, and distribution”, in addition to “operations, international strategy, and business development, fostering and nurturing partnerships with rightsholders, venues, and key ticketing entities.”
He will be based in Los Angeles, California, and will report to Scott Jernigan, the executive vice president and chief commercial officer of On Location.
On Location currently operates the Qcue ticketing technology, which it acquired in 2021. In terms of sporting operations, it currently works across the Olympic and Paralympic Games, Major League Baseball, collegiate athletics’ NCAA, and American football’s NFL.
Before his time at Logitix, from where he stepped down as president in June last year, Nortman spent time at companies such as Ticketmaster, PrimeSport, and Dynasty Sports & Entertainment.
Nortman has now said: “Since my days at PrimeSport, I’ve witnessed On Location’s evolution into the experiential hospitality and ticketing leader it is today, working with the most exciting events and partners in sports and entertainment. I am excited to join such an incredible team and apply my experience, insights, and strategic vision to unlock new levels of excellence, forge new partnerships, and drive sustained growth across the ticketing business."
Jernigan added: "Since integrating QCue’s dynamic pricing software and ticketing experts across our premium hospitality offerings, On Location’s ticketing business continues to go from strength to strength. With Greg’s industry-leading experience and expertise, he is perfectly positioned to lead us into the next phase of growth for the business and our partners.”
In late December, IMG and the IMG Events division of Endeavor brought in Jennifer Ogden-Reese as the chief marketing officer of the merged events company.
Ogden-Reese has been made responsible for developing the brands, experiences, and products offered by IMG and On Location, as well as continued fan engagement.
On Location is the exclusive hospitality partner of the 2024 Olympic Games, to be held in Paris, France, with Will Whiston, executive vice president of Olympics & Paralympics at On Location, telling GlobalData that it is: “the most sophisticated commercial effort for a major event in industry history.”
