The Tennessee Titans' new home will retain the Nissan Stadium branding as part of a new 20-year exclusive naming rights partnership between the NFL franchise and Japanese car giant.

The new deal further strengthens a tie-up that has existed between the Titans and Nissan since 2015, when the car brand put its name to the team's current stadium.

The new Nissan Stadium is scheduled for completion in 2027, and it will host Titans home games, Tennessee State University American football games, concerts, large-scale events, and other community events.

The partnership also involves dedicated areas in the new stadium for brand experiences and displays, technology integration, and inclusion in Titans broadcast platforms.

Nissan also will support a yet-to-be-determined program in the Titans One Community philanthropic platform.

Titans chief revenue officer Adam Nuse added: “Since 2015 our fans and organization have called our home Nissan Stadium, and we are proud to continue that tradition in the new stadium as we deepen and expand our relationship with them.

“The new stadium will host the world's largest events, as well as serve as a community hub for our local neighbors.”

The new Nissan Stadium is set to be built on the east side of the Titans' current campus, along Nashville's East Bank.

The Titans claim that features will include a circular translucent roof, exterior porches with views of Nashville, improved sightlines for spectators, and a 12,000-square-foot community space available year-round.

Earlier this year, architecture and interior design firm TVS was contracted as the architect of record for the new Nissan Stadium, after the Titans signed an agreement with John Cooper, Nashville mayor at the time, to build the new domed stadium.
