American football’s NFL has agreed a new multi-year sponsorship deal with restaurant chain Applebee's Grill + Bar.
As the official grill and bar of the NFL, Applebee's will activate across the NFL calendar, beginning with next week's NFL Draft, and engage with fans across the US.
The restaurant’s tie-up with the NFL will be enhanced with national broadcast television and online media investments, as well as a presence at NFL tentpole events such as the Super Bowl.
Tracie Rodburg, senior vice president of sponsorship management at the NFL, said: “Applebee's shares the league's commitment to providing best-in-class gameday experiences, and we're thrilled to be able to bring our fans together with Applebee's in the months and years ahead."
Applebee's has sponsored the ‘Football Night in America’ pre-game show for NBC's ‘Sunday Night Football’ NFL show since 2019.
In recent months, the NFL has announced renewed partnerships with insurance company Nationwide and sports equipment company Riddell.
The 2024 NFL Draft will take place between April 25 and 27, with the new season to begin on September 5.
