Newcastle United, of English soccer’s top-tier Premier League (EPL), have today unveiled a deal with the Endeavor Streaming service.

Through the tie-up, Endeavor Streaming will deliver the English club’s direct-to-consumer streaming offering.

This will see the creation of a new web application through which fans can stream content, with this app powered by the Endeavor Streaming Vesper platform.

The service will be available within the various Newcastle online and mobile platforms, including the club's iOS and Android apps.

This move comes with Newcastle - taken over by a consortium backed by the Saudi Arabian PIF investment fund in late 2021 - looking to increase revenue by growing its international fanbase and worldwide brand recognition.

In terms of content, the tie-up has been unveiled in advance of the various pre-season friendlies Newcastle will play as a build-up to the 2024-25 EPL season.

All pre-season fixtures in their calendar (including a short upcoming tour of Japan) will be available via this new platform, as will a select number of Newcastle United Women, U21, and U18 fixtures during the season.

As well as live match coverage, the in-house streaming channel will show player interviews, highlights, full match replays, and behind-the-scenes documentaries.

Endeavor Streaming has previously launched direct-to-consumer streaming services for other soccer clubs and leagues, including Tottenham Hotspur’s SpursPlay, UEFA’s UEFA.tv, the National Women’s Soccer League, and Dutch giants Feyenoord.

Dan Ginger, director of brand, marketing, and digital media at Newcastle, said: “The implementation of Endeavor Streaming is another step forward in our commitment to bringing fans closer to the club, providing an unparalleled digital experience, ensuring our supporters have seamless access to exclusive content and live matches.

“We are excited about the possibilities this collaboration brings and look forward to engaging with our global fanbase in new and dynamic ways.”

Newcastle, who finished seventh in the 20-team EPL last season, will begin their 2024-25 campaign with a home tie against Southampton on August 17.

The club recently signed a new agreement extending a commercial partnership with sports betting brand BetMGM.

The extension of the 2023 deal, which now makes BetMGM the club’s official betting partner, is set to involve more fan initiatives.
