Cruise operator MSC Cruises has been unveiled as the title sponsor of the Formula 1 (F1) motor racing series' grands prix in Japan and Emilia Romagna in 2024.
The MSC Cruises brand will have a major presence at the races, as well as track branding, which is part of the cruise line’s global sponsorship of Formula 1 that began last year and runs through the end of 2026.
From April 5 to 7, MSC Cruises will serve as the title sponsor to the Japanese Grand Prix, the fourth race of the season, at the Suzuka track in Japan.
From May 17 to 19, the company will sponsor the F1 race at Emilia Romagna at the racetrack in Imola, Italy.
In July, MSC Cruises had its first title sponsorship at the Belgian Grand Prix.
In terms of its other sports sponsorships, MSC Cruises became the front-of-shirt partner of Napoli, Italian soccer’s Serie A champions, earlier this year.
MSC Cruises stepped up from its previous designation as the club’s secondary shirt sponsor, to fill a commercial slot left vacant by Italian water company Acqua Lete.
