Radhika Duggal has been named as chief marketing officer (CMO) of North America’s Major League Soccer (MLS) and its Soccer United Marketing (SUM) commercial arm.
In this role, she will serve on the senior executive team at the league office, lead the creation of MLS’ marketing strategy and programs, and “drive the continued growth of the league’s global fanbase.”
Duggal joins MLS and SUM after serving as CMO for fintech and e-commerce company Super.com. Her previous experience includes managing marketing functions at Fortune 100 companies like JP Morgan Chase and Pfizer, at startups, and as a management consultant at Deloitte.
Camilo Durana, MLS executive vice president, has said: “Radhika is a thoughtful, innovative, and forward-thinking executive with experience building best-in-class marketing organizations in diverse industries.
“During this time of enormous domestic and global opportunity for Major League Soccer as the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America nears, we’re excited to have Radhika lead the way as chief marketing officer, expanding how we deliver for passionate fans and growing audiences.”
Duggal added: “MLS is a truly global sport that has the power to unite people and communities. Marketing is at the heart of that with powerful storytelling and data-driven activation to reach the right fan with the right message at the right time.
“The opportunity to drive unity and connection and continue to build upon the incredible momentum behind our league and sport is what excited me the most about joining MLS.”
