Estrella Galicia 0,0, the Spanish brewery, has been announced as the official beer partner of the McLaren Formula 1 (F1) motor racing team.

The multi-year deal reunites the two parties, having originally collaborated in 2019 and 2020. It will involve Estrella Galicia branding on McLaren F1’s 2024 car and the overalls and team kit of drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

José Cabanas, chief marketing officer of Estrella Galicia, added: “As part of our internationalization process, having great partners alongside you is a key factor for success.”

The brewery also signed a similar multi-year deal with Dorna Sports, the commercial rightsholder of motorcycling’s MotoGP World Championship in 2023, with more than half of the current 22 MotoGP riders having been supported by Estrella Galicia 0,0 at some time in their racing careers.

McLaren F1 has an extensive commercial portfolio that includes the likes of OKX, Cisco, DP World, Dell Technologies, Monster Energy, Unilever, Goldman Sachs, Coca-Cola, Castore, and Richard Mille.

The 2024 F1 season will feature a record 24 races.

The next campaign will be the longest calendar in the sport’s history, beginning in Bahrain on March 2 and finishing more than 10 months later in Abu Dhabi on December 8.
