OKX, the global cryptocurrency exchange, is further expanding its partnership with the McLaren Formula 1 (F1) motor racing team.

The extended tie-up will see the OKX logo feature on the side pods of the McLaren F1 car livery for 20 races in the 2024 season, in addition to other OKX branding placements on the car.

The company’s branding featured on the side pods for seven races last season at the Australian, Austrian, Hungarian, Belgian, Singapore, Japanese, and Sao Paulo grands prix.

OKX will also continue in its role as an official primary partner of both the McLaren F1 and esports teams.

The crypto exchange's branding was visible on the overalls of McLaren F1 drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri for much of the 2023 campaign.

The partnership will also continue to involve activations, competitions, and all-access content as it did in 2022 (when the two parties originally teamed up) and 2023.

Zak Brown, McLaren Racing's chief executive, said: “Our partnership with OKX is going from strength to strength and we delivered some fantastic fan activations last season. I look forward to building on that success through this expanded relationship, and to keeping the OKX brand front and center in the fast-paced world of Formula 1.”
